Hope Ranch ▪ Santa Barbara
Part of an equestrian estate in fabled Hope Ranch, north of Santa Barbara, the house was inspired by the romantic Spanish Colonial Revival architecture prevalent in Southern California in the early 20th century. With its mix of Spanish and Mission styles, the house features gabled wings, colorful tilework, decorative iron grilles and restrained ornament around the doors and windows, all evocative of the historic estates of Santa Barbara and Montecito.
